Austin, Texas native Post Malone has released his long-awaited fifth studio album, AUSTIN. The album titled after his legal first name, Austin Richard Post, features 17 tracks, including the singles “Chemical”, “Mourning”, and “Overdrive”.

“AUSTIN” is a departure from Malone’s previous work, with a more stripped-down sound that features acoustic guitars and banjos. The 28-year-old plays the guitar on “every single song on the album,” which he described as “a really, really fun experience.”

The album was produced by Malone himself, alongside his longtime collaborators Andrew Watt, Louis Bell, Max Martin, and Rami Yacoub.

“This whole deal has been one of the most challenging, rewarding, and exciting records I’ve worked on,” Malone wrote on Instagram. “I feel it captures who I am as a man and as an artist in this moment. Thank y’all so much for your patience, and thank you for being there with me in my hardest times. I love y’all so much, and am ready to fucking party with y’all.”

Malone is currently on tour in support of Austin. The “If Ya’ll Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying” North American tour will run through August 19.
