Drake and Rick Ross seem to be at odds, and the reasons remain unclear. Observers on the internet initially noticed that the MMG founder unfollowed Drake on Instagram, a move that coincided with Ross’ feature on Future and Metro Boomin’s album “We Don’t Trust You”, which is rumored to contain veiled criticisms of Drake.

On Wednesday (March 27), Ross posted a video of himself enjoying Kendrick Lamar’s verse on “Like That,” where the Pulitzer winning rapper takes a swipe at Drake.

In the incendiary verse, Lamar declares, “Muthafuck the big three, n*gga, it’s just big me.” He also suggested his legacy would outlive Drake’s.

The timing of Ross’ video is intriguing, as this comes shortly after Drake hosted the rapper’s ex-girlfriend, Cristina Mackey at his concert in Florida, providing her with VIP access. She later shared glimpses of the event on social media, including a personalized OVO-branded envelope.

Meanwhile, Drake appears to have responded to his various adversaries. In a cryptic message shared on Instagram (March 28), he suggested that some prefer conflict over self-reflection: “They rather go to war with me than admit they are their own worst enemy”

Drake’s father, Dennis Graham, also weighed in, hinting that other artists might be leveraging feuds with his son for publicity. In a now-deleted post on his Instagram, Graham took a sarcastic jab at Kendrick Lamar, Future, Metro Boomin, and other rappers allegedly involved in the beef, implying that fabricated conflicts are being used to boost their music sales.

“Yo I am about to drop some new music and I am not sure if it’s going to sell,” the older Graham wrote. “But I am going to call some of my homies and get them start a beef with Drake and get them to unfollow him and that’s going make my s**t shoot up to number 1, I’m sure this is going to work so let me get some people on board for this and watch what kind of attention this gets! I WILL BE NUMBER ONE 1Day!”
