Jay-Z is adding to his portfolio with a multi-million dollar investment in Robot Pizza Truck, an automated pizza startup that wants to make ordering a pie quicker and more affordable.
The Los Angeles-based startup announced on Monday (October 3) that Marcy Venture Partners — Jay-Z’s venture capital firm, raised $16.5 million for its trucks.

The Company tells Bloomberg the new Pizza truck will allow customers order the gourmet pies via a mobile app, and the machine will assemble and bake the pizzas from scratch in under five minutes, reducing cost of labor and real estate.
Stellar Pizza was founded in 2019 by three former SpaceX engineers. A launch is slated at the University of California this Fall.
