The first-week numbers projections for Kid Cudi’s ninth studio album INSANO are here.
HITS Daily Double reports Cudi’s latest offering is projected to open at 40K-50K, a big improvement from his last album “Entergalactic,” which sold 22,500 equivalent album units in its opening week.
Released on Friday, “INSANO” serves as the official follow-up to 2022’s Entergalactic. The 21-track LP features guest appearances from Travis Scott (“Get Off Me”), ASAP Rocky (“Wow”), Lil Wayne (“Seven”), Young Thug (“Rager Boyz”), XXXTENTACION (“X and CUD), Pharrell Williams (At The Party”) and Lil Yachty (“Too Damn High”).
On Wednesday (January 10), prior to INSANO’s release, the Ohio native hinted at the release of an extended version: “The deluxe is basically another album,” he tweeted. “There wont be 20 plus songs, but u get a nice amount [wink emoji] lookin to drop NEXT WEEK.”
