This collaborative project boasts an exceptional lineup of superstars, including Bad Bunny, Ozuna, Feid, Rauw Alejandro, Jhayco, Myke Towers, Mora, Sech, and legends such as Daddy Yankee, Arcángel, Wisin y Yandel, Zion, and Chencho Corleone. Additionally, the album embraces a multi-genre attitude by featuring collaborations with Skrillex, Four Tet, The Marias, Kany García, E.Vax, Julieta Venegas, and Arca, while also showcasing the talents of emerging artists like Alvaro Diaz, Young Miko, Kris Floyd, Judeline, Omar Courtz and Xantos.

Coming off the heels of his recent release for “LA BABY” featuring artists Daddy Yankee, Feid and Sech, the 6x Latin GRAMMY Award Winner drops this 19-track love letter to Japanese culture, reggaeton, and immersive sonic textures. “DATA” serves as a testament to Tainy’s exceptional sound sequencing skills and his ability to unite global artists for a remarkable tracklist. The album cover, inspired by the artist’s passion for anime, encapsulates the essence of the album’s rollout.

“The creation process was a different journey for me. It took time to ensure the music sounded cohesive while also bringing out the visual aspect,” said Tainy in a press statement. “I spent almost a year perfecting the sound, which served as the foundation for the other elements to come together over a span of nearly three years.”

The project starts with the motivational intro, “obstáculo,” featuring a signature freestyle by Myke Towers. This sets the stage for the all-star collaboration “PASIEMPRE,” which includes contributions from Arcangel, experimentalist Arca, Myke Towers, Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Omar Courtz, Jhayco, and a surprise verse by Bad Bunny. This unifying project transcends generations of reggaeton fanatics.

“BUENOS AIRES” introduces Mora and Zion, while “Todavía” features long-time collaborators Wisin y Yandel. Showcasing his alternative flair, Tainy includes tracks like “11 y Once,” a captivating number with Sech and E.Vax, the dreamy “Mañana” by The Marias and Young Miko, and the piano-led “KANY’S INTERLUDE” by Puerto Rican native Kany Garcia.

“VOLVER” featuring Rauw Alejandro, Skrillex, and Four Tet, brings together reggaeton with dubstep, creating an irresistible evolution of beats and tempos. Another standout track is the multi-diamond certified hit “Lo Siento BB” featuring Bad Bunny & Julieta Venegas, which earned Tainy four 2022 Latin GRAMMY® awards, including “Best Reggaeton Performance.”

Tainy reflects on the creative process: “There’s no standard on how Latin music is supposed to sound. Music is art, so we should create anything that feels amazing to us and connects with the listener. I had fun; it was a learning experience that I fully enjoyed because I could express myself in different aspects, not just music.”
