Best New Music: Nicki Minaj, Tyga, Usher and More

With another seven days completed, we’re back with a new edition of our Best New Music playlist series. This week features new music from Tyga, Logic, JT, Usher, and more. Let’s get right to it

In response to Megan Thee Stallion’s “HISS” single, which many interpreted to contain a jab at Nicki Minaj’s sex offender husband, Kenneth Petty, the leader of Barbz fired back with a scathing rant titled “Big Foot” that mocks Megan’s 2020 shooting incident with Tory Lanez

Elsewhere, Nicki Minaj’s former Young Money label mate, Tyga is the master of a lady’s man on his brand new single, “Sensei”. In the new track, the “Rack City” rapper boasts about his luxurious bachelor lifestyle.

After announcing his new album Coming Home, dropping next week Friday (Feb. 9), Usher connects with Nigerian Afrobeats producer and singer Pheelz for the album’s latest single, “Ruin.”

Meanwhile, Logic takes on his critics with introspective rhymes on “Fear” and City Girl JT keeps it real and assertive on “Sideways.”

We also get new music this week from Don Toliver (“Bandit”), Daniel Caesar (“Waiting In Vain”), NBA YoungBoy (“Bnyx Da Reaper”), Hit-Boy and The Alchemist (“Don’t Be Gone”) and more. Because we can’t always get them all. These are some of the best new songs released this week. All in one place for your listening pleasure. Not everyone cares!
