Megan Thee Stallion Claps Back at Her Haters on New Single “Hiss”

Megan Thee Stallion is not holding back on her new single “Hiss.” The Houston rap star unleashes her venom on several of her enemies, including her ex-boyfriend Pardison Fontaine, Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Tory Lanez.

“I just want to kick this sh*t by sayin’ f**k y’all,” she says at the beginning of the track produced by LilJuMadeDaBeat, Bankroll Got It, and Shawn “Source” Jarrett. “I ain’t gotta clear my name on a mother**kin’ thing. Every time I get mentioned, one of y’all b***h-a** niggas get twenty-four hours of attention/I’m finna get this sh*t off my chest and lay it to rest, let’s go.”

Pardison Fontaine

Megan and Pardison, also known as Pardi have been involved in a messy breakup that played out on social media. The former couple exchanged shots on their respective songs, with Megan accusing Pardison of cheating on her on “Cobra” and Pardison exposing Megan’s alleged lies and plastic surgery on “Thee Person”.

“Got lipo then you started posting gym pics,” raps Fontaine, “the things that you’re doing is sadistic.”

On “Hiss”, Megan fires back at Pardison, calling him a “hook nose full of that Tina snow” and a “n—a that’s weak in the sheets”. She also mocks his rap career, saying that he needs her help to make money and that he’s not her equal. She even suggests that she should have slept with his friend instead of him.

Tory Lanez

Megan also takes aim at Tory Lanez, who is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for shooting her in the foot in 2020. Megan expresses her disdain for anyone who supports Tory, telling them to “support him while he in prison”. She also implies that she is untouchable in the courtroom.

Megan also addresses Drake, who seemingly dissed her on his song with 21 Savage, “Circle Loo”. On the track, Drake raps that Megan “lie about getting shots but she’s still a stallion”, implying that she lied about both her butt injections and her gunshot wound. He also says that he’s heard enough of her album after the first track, suggesting that he’s not impressed by her music.

On “Hiss”, Megan called Drake out for claiming to hate BBLs while “walking around with the same scars,” alluding to Drake’s alleged tummy tuck surgery. She also said the Canadian “cosplay gangsters” and moves around with “fake ass accents.”

Nicki Minaj

The most surprising target of Megan’s wrath is Nicki Minaj, who was once her friend and collaborator. The two rap queens teamed up for the hit song “Hot Girl Summer” in 2019, but their relationship soured over the years. Nicki has thrown shade at Megan on several occasions, and has implied that Megan urged her to get an abortion. She also mocked her shooting incident and accused her of being ungrateful and disloyal.

On “Hiss”, Megan seemingly references Nicki’s husband Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender. She raps, “These hoes mad at Megan’s Law”, referring to the law that requires sex offenders to register with the state. She also claims that Nicki is too scared to confront her in person.

“B**ch, you a pu**y, never finna check me
Every chance you get, bet your weak ass won’t address me,” she rapped.

Nicki responded a short time later in an Instagram Live video where she clowned Megan’s flow and urged her to “get on the good foot.”

Fans also think she dissed Rihanna, who dropped her as a Savage X Fenty model a few years ago, but it’s just fan speculations at this point. In the song, she rapped, “I can never be judged by a b***h that was dancin’, makin’ R. Kelly go viral.”

Minutes before the song’s release, Megan called into The Breakfast Club to explain the song’s title. “Back off. I hear you, I see you, get up off me now, that’s what it [title] means,” she said.

She also said the song isn’t directed at anyone in particular but says “A hit dog gon holler…whoever feel it, feel it.”

Megan is currently working on her first independent album after parting ways with 1501 Certified Entertainment last October following a lengthy legal battle.
