Drake is bored and is back trying to reignite his beef with Kanye West, at least that’s what the internet alleges.

The Toronto rapper, on Friday (March 31) debuted a new song on The Fri Yiy Show in celebration of OVO40’s 40th birthday. On the track titled Search & Rescue, Drizzy admits he’s in search of an altruistic woman that he can take home. However, the talking point of the track is his choice of sample. Kanye West’s ex wife Kim Kardashian can be heard through out the song including moments where he begs for a woman to rescue him.

“I didn’t come this far just to come this far and not be happy. Remember that,” Kim Kardashian can be heard saying at the end of his verse. The audio comes from an episode of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ where Kim was talking to Kris Jenner about her divorce from Kanye West.

The song continues with Drake expressing his love for the woman while Kim Kardashian’s voice says ‘okay’ several times.

As petty as this seems, “Search & Rescue” is not the first time Drake would be using Kim Kardashian’s name or referencing her in his songs. In his single Knife Talk from his sixth studio album Certified Lover Boy, the 36-year-old alluded to sleeping with Kim Kardashian, which sent Kanye West into meltdown. The two eventually settled their differences on November 16, 2021, on request of American music executive J. Prince.

Drake later revealed his ceasefire wasn’t genuine and that he only did it for J Prince. “Linking with the opps, bitch, I did that shit for J Prince/Bitch, I did it for the mob ties,” he raps on his Her Loss track Circo Loco. “And I never been the one to go apologize/Me, I’d rather hit ’em up one more time,” he later adds.

Kanye West, now legally known as Ye would respond to these lines via Twitter in a positive tone. He had just spoken positively about Drake on Drink Champs, and he even promoted Her Loss via Parler, and wasn’t going to let Drake ruin his love renaissance.

“Enough already I done gave this man his flowers multiple times Let’s really see who are real ops are in this music game Imagine all the rappers on the same side and everyone cleaning up each others contracts It’s kingdom time Love Drake #lovespeech.”

“kim sample in new Drake right when Kanye comes out of his hiatus [crying face emoji] he just want him to get crazy again,” one Twitter user wrote about Drake’s new song and sample.

“Drake singing “come and rescue me” while sampling the clip where Kim reveals the moment she knew she wanted a divorce from Kanye is villainous man,” comments another person.

“Kanye had JUST turned the corner on his feeling about Jews and here go Drake sampling Kim talking about her divorce, he’s so insane man what’s his problem.”
