Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s Vultures 1 Tops Billboard 200 Chart

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have achieved a remarkable feat with their debut collaborative album, Vultures 1. The album, which was released independently through West’s YZY label on February 10, has topped the Billboard 200 chart, selling 148,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending Feb. 15, according to Luminate. This achievement marks Ye’s 11th chart-topper and Ty Dolla’s first No. 1 album.

Of the 148,000 units earned in the tracking week ending Feb. 15, streaming equivalent album (SEA) units account for 129,000, album sales for 18,000, and track equivalent album (TEA) units for 1,000. Physical versions of the album on CD and vinyl are slated for release later, with pre-orders already available on Ye’s official webstore.

“Vultures 1” was released on Saturday (Feb. 10) after a series of delays. The album explores various themes and features a diverse range of guest appearances, including Freddie Gibbs, North West, Playboi Carti, Rich The Kid, James Blake, and more. 

Some of the standout tracks include Carnival, Paid, Back to Me, and Talking.

“Vultures 1” is the first installment of a three-volume series. Volumes 2, and 3 are scheduled for release on March 8 and April 5, respectively.
