21 Savage has achieved consecutive No. 1 solo albums, with his latest release, American Dream, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

According to Billboard, the Atlanta rapper earned the biggest first week sales of his solo career with American Dream, which sold 133,000 equivalent album units in its opening week.

This marks his fourth top-three solo debut, following Issa Album (2017), I Am > I Was (2018), and Savage Mode 2 with Metro Boomin (2020). Additionally, his joint project with Drake, Her Loss, also secured a No. 1 spot with 404,000 equivalent units.

Released January 12, “American Dream” contains 15-tracks with features from Doja Cat, Young Thug, Summer Walker, Travis Scott, Mariah The Scientist, Metro Boomin, and more.

Beyond his musical success, 21 Savage is gearing up for the release of his biopic film, America Dream: The 21 Savage Story. Announced earlier this month, the movie will star Childish Gambino and Stranger Things actor Caleb McLaughlin, portraying different stages of the rapper’s life.

The film, which also casts Druski and Jabari Banks, who plays Will in Bel-Air, is scheduled for release on July 4, 2024.
